About
Racquel Alexis Lee (born on February 5, 2000), known as Radcity, is a record producer, singer-songwriter, rapper, actor, and content creator.
From singing in a local church choir and developing an interest in the arts at 5, Radcity showed a strong musical inclination from a very young age. Over the years, she has participated in various theatrical programs in the Greater Philadelphia area, including SCHCAPA: Suzann Christine Henry Creative and Performing Arts and DL. M: Dream Live Movement at Temple University.
In 2018, Radcity graduated from high school and left home to pursue her passion in the Creative Arts. She began building her production portfolio in New York by networking with various creatives at local open mic gatherings, collaborating in person, and connecting through music collectives.
As an independent female producer and QWOC (Queer Woman Of Color) artist, she has been working professionally with some of today's prominent stars and up-and-coming acts since 2018. She said, "The Radcity vision is more than the music, it’s a movement!"
In 2020, BeatStars recognized Radcity as one of the “Top 10 International Female Producers", which allowed her to become an ambassador for their producer community. That experience propelled her to be part of the movement that shifted the paradigm of how female creatives in music are perceived. It also activated her love for creating resources and spaces for them to be seen.
er production credits include Coca Vango, LaLa Ri (RuPaul’s Drag Race), Reed Shannon (Netflix’s ARCANE & Cartoon Network), Khalil Sharieff (“EVOL”), Tre Prada (“Kiss Myself”), Jalen Parker (BRAT TV & Dance Moms), Olivia Cella, NAOMA, and more. Radcity has created a unique sound that blends R&B, Neo-Soul, Jazz, Hip-Hop, Trap, House, Afrobeat, and Pop genres into her intricate style.
In addition, Radcity has sync/playlist placements with Apple Music, TIDAL, Pandora, Spotify, United Masters, BeatStars, and Overtime Sports, and was featured in Medium Magazine in 2021.
Her first single under her indie label CBMBG, titled "Little Things" featuring Edwin Jackson & Jalen Parker, kickstarted her journey into creating a unique artistic vision. This marked the start of a creative blueprint that showcased her storytelling abilities through immersive world-building and fan engagement via poetry and playlists.
Radcity strives to “Create Beautiful Minds as a Believable Genius” by bringing Culture & Community together through their love of ART & MUSIC and isn’t slowing down any time soon. THE MOVEMENT IS NOW.
