About

Raised in Oak Cliff, Texas where he attended South Oak Cliff High School, Reallo’s interest in music began in 7th grade when he joined the band playing the trumpet. By his junior year in high school he began rapping. Initially, he was just rapping for fun, but when he captured the ears of his peers who enjoyed his lyrical style, flow and the sound of his voice, he started to take the art more seriously. In 2018, Reallo started to develop his unique sound and put together a body of work and released them through various mixtapes. His mixtapes were in heavy rotation in the streets which afforded him show opportunities at different clubs around the country where he opened up for Atlanta rapper, Peewee Longway and Memphis, Tennessee rapper, Young Dolph, to name a few. This Texas-based, rapper-songwriter, says, “music is my sight. I use it like a blind man uses braille.” Reallo has a seamless neutrality when it comes to songwriting that allows him to exist outside of any particular box or genre of rap. His music is driven by his unique and recognizable vocal presence as well as his lyrical etiquette. Songs are his form of communication. The young star says “I have conversations with the instrumentals. I know in the first few seconds if I have a song for the track.” With his low-key demeanor and assertive confidence, Reallo is an emotional writer and artist that delivers authenticity through records such as Loose Change, Girlfriend and Hellcat. Reallo says, “I believe you have to live your truth. I’m not in any particular box, I’m kind of neutral. But when you hear me, you know it’s me.”
