About

Born in Chicago and raised in Long Beach, California, Miriah Renee’s journey to solo stardom is a testament to authenticity, resilience, and unwavering purpose. From an early age, she knew music was her calling—and she has been relentlessly committed to sharing her voice with the world ever since. Growing up immersed in a rich blend of influences, Miriah was shaped by the powerhouse vocals of Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston, and Celine Dion, alongside the smooth, soulful sounds of Aaliyah and Anita Baker. Her father, a working musician, instilled in her a deep appreciation for music, further fueling her passion and discipline. Miriah’s early musical foundation began in country music, performing songs by Shania Twain and Celine Dion, before ultimately finding her true artistic home in R&B. As a teenager, Miriah took her first major steps into the music industry by signing with the girl group Her Story. The group gained momentum through high school tours and performances across Southern California. While the group eventually disbanded, the experience solidified Miriah’s determination to pursue a professional solo career. Seeking creative growth, Miriah relocated to Atlanta, where she formed the duo Riss & Ry and worked alongside industry heavyweights Brian Michael Cox and J. Que Smith. After returning to her California roots and welcoming her daughter, Marley Rose, Miriah entered a new phase of both personal and artistic evolution. In 2022, she released her independent project 6/4, a deeply reflective body of work that marked a pivotal new chapter in her career. Now operating with renewed focus and confidence, Miriah is collaborating with top-tier producers including Cardiak, Bongo, and CashmoneyAP on her upcoming offering—music that captures her growth, strength, and emotional clarity. With her eyes firmly set on the future, Miriah Renee is ready to show the world that she’s an inspiring woman who’s here to stay. That resolve is felt clearly in her new single “UDD” (U Don’t Deserve)—a declaration of self-worth and boundaries. As Miriah steps into 2026, she leaves behind anything and anyone who no longer aligns with her growth, purpose, or peace—denying access to what no longer serves her and fully embracing the woman she has become.
