SĒAN MOSIKILI (born Tswelopele Sean Mosikili, April 11, 2005) is a South African-born singer, songwriter, and producer. His work incorporates elements of dark pop, alternative pop, and contemporary R&B, and is characterized by an emphasis on vocal layering, atmospheric production, and narrative-driven songwriting. SĒAN began writing music at the age of eight. During his secondary education, he received formal instruction and practice in music theory, playing the piano and vocal performance, which provided a technical foundation for his later work. Following high school, he expanded his skill set through independent study, focusing on music production, audio engineering, and advanced songwriting techniques. This period marked the development of a self-directed creative process in which he assumed primary responsibility for the technical and artistic aspects of his recordings.
