Sam C is very diverse and from a unique background. He listens to all types of music and draws on inspiration for his music everywhere. Born in San Francisco at Mount Zion Hospital. His single mom took him home to their first place at 22nd & Harrison in the Mission District. At 5 years old his mom took him to live in West Africa, The Gambia to be exact. This had a positive life long impact. He has had his share of strife in life and that along with the natural spirit of his soul is what makes him such a deep and unique individual. He has a distinct voice and sound that resonates with many, and is quickly recognized when heard. On his new album SuperCaliBragalisticFunkyAssDopeSpit he has a perfect balance of himself, old school Hip Hop roots, and present day current sound and vibe.
