Sheila Kay Singer. Songwriter. Storyteller. Producer. Sheila Kay is a Seattle-based singer-songwriter, live performer, and founder of Inspirational Productions, a creative platform dedicated to motivating, inspiring, and uplifting communities through the arts. With a voice rooted in soul, jazz, blues, and lived experience, Sheila creates music that is emotionally honest, spiritually grounded, and unapologetically authentic. A lifelong performer, Sheila has spent over four decades singing professionally — including 20 years as a music minister — and has appeared in numerous musical theater productions since 2008. Known for her commanding stage presence and heartfelt delivery, she has become a respected voice in Seattle’s artistic community, curating and hosting storytelling and music events such as Our Stories, where healing and art intersect. At 61, Sheila embraces what she calls her “late bloom” era. Her latest project, Dancing Naked, is a bold and liberating body of original work that challenges cultural stereotypes about aging, womanhood, and visibility. Written especially for women who have been told their time has passed, the album explores themes of sensuality, resilience, spiritual awakening, and radical self-love. Currently in production, the project reflects Sheila’s fearless commitment to growth and artistic evolution. Whether performing intimate jazz, blues-infused originals, or soul-stirring storytelling pieces, Sheila Kay’s mission remains the same: To motivate, inspire, and uplift — bringing healing through the arts.
