nico davis is a singer, producer and keyboardist from new jersey. operating primarily in the neo soul and alternative R&B genres, nico's style blends a mix of catchy pop melodies and atmospheric, soulful production. his sound has made quite the splash, with Little chief describing his sound as "both emotive and sonically rich". He began releasing music in 2024, dropping his debut EP "head in the clouds" as a senior project. Primarily self produced, the EP features co-production from Max Volante on "crossyourmind" as well as a feature from Wiseboy Jeremy on the track "float". Following up on that track, nico released the song "cherry" in June. Featuring woozy Rhodes piano and deep bass, Nico's vocals shine over the trippy production. It's received acclaim from outlets like hip hop eargasm, who noted "His words paint a vivid picture of longing and desire, making it easy to relate to his emotions. The clever, direct lyrics are delivered with such sincerity and warmth that you can’t help but be drawn into his world."
