Skreigh, born Tyler J. O'Hara, has become an influential figure in Milwaukee, Wisconsin's vibrant underground music scene. His journey into the world of music was shaped from a very young age, influenced by the sounds emanating from his father's beat-making sessions in their basement. These early experiences exposed him to the rhythms and intricacies of music production before he even knew how to play an instrument, sparking a lifelong passion for musical exploration. From these formative sounds, Skreigh’s interest in music quickly transformed into a driven pursuit. By middle school, he had already begun experimenting with digital audio workstations (DAWs), starting with Looplabs to craft his initial compositions. It wasn't long before he and a middle school friend, now known professionally as Lober, formed a band. This duo took to SoundCloud, releasing a new song daily using Soundtrap as their platform. This period was marked by intense creativity and experimentation, though the band ultimately disbanded after about six months. Nevertheless, this experience laid the groundwork for Skreigh’s future musical endeavors. Undeterred by the dissolution of his first band, Skreigh continued to refine his musical skills, transitioning to using FL Studio for its advanced features. His evolving sound was heavily influenced by the raw energy of Nu Metal, Punk, and hardcore Hip-Hop. This phase of his career was characterized by a DIY ethic and a desire to craft beats that captured the visceral thrill of these genres. His songwriting during this time was spurred by a spontaneous freestyle about starting a mosh pit, leading him to develop lyrics that matched the ferocity of his musical compositions. Despite initial challenges in gaining widespread attention, Skreigh’s dedication to his craft began to pay dividends when he collaborated with REXY on the track "WEARETHELUCKY." This song quickly caught the ears of listeners, amassing 1,000 streams within its first week and marking a significant breakthrough in Skreigh’s career. The success of this collaboration spurred further musical partnerships, notably with SXNOROUS, which further solidified his presence within the underground music scene. Skreigh was a founding member of the collective AMXRPHXUS, alongside SXNOROUS. The collective became known for its genre-blending style, merging the intensity of punk and metal with the lyrical depth of rap. However, following the disbandment of AMXRPHXUS, Skreigh ventured into a new chapter by establishing his own label, ALXENATXON INC. This label represents his growth as both an artist and an entrepreneur, showcasing his commitment to nurturing emerging talent and pushing creative boundaries. Today, Skreigh's influence in the music industry is undeniable. His work continues to resonate with a broad audience, characterized by heavy guitar riffs, hard-hitting beats, and lyrics that delve into themes of personal struggle, societal critique, and the darker aspects of human nature.
