Spliff G Masu

Spliff G Masu started in Fort Walton Beach Florida writing songs when he was 10, after first time hearing RUN-D.M.C. He later during Junior High School used money his parents gave him for lunch, to buy 12 inch singles and started writing songs and recording them in his bedroom on 60 minute tapes. Hw passed them out at school and when he got to High School uped his game to 90 minute tapes and passing them out as well. Spliff G Masu graduated in 93 and in 94 Javan McCain also known as Florida J came to his house and told him he was starting a label called Down South Records and wanted him to be the first to come out. 1994 Spliff released UNDERGROUND FUNK and with his father being in the Air Force, got stationed in Colorado Springs. Spliff went to the mall and saw that their was a label doing what he was doing and sent his tape to Felony Records where he got signed. Spliff G Masu later in the that year released BRINGIN DRAMA and the rest is history. 2001 he verbally signed with Born 2 Die Records releasing NO MERCY and Mob Affiliates. Later he decided to do his own thing and released UNTIL I DIE. Afterwards him and his ex friend Shakir Shakur started a label called HARDWORK PLAYERZ INC/PLAYERZGUILD ENT. They went strong for 6 years and due to some differences they split and now Spliff G Masu is his own man now running his own label Persevere Underground Llc along side his wife Co CEO Stephanie Fletcher which is now being distributed by UNITED MASTERS.
