SweetBoyAlo (SBA), born Alo Toluwalope O., is a Nigerian-born singer, rapper, songwriter, and dancer currently based in Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada. Rooted in the heritage of Ekiti and shaped by humble beginnings in Ibadan, Oyo State, his journey is one of movement—both physically and creatively. From an early age, he has navigated life’s challenges through rhythm and expression, using dance and music as both escape and purpose. SweetBoyAlo’s artistry reflects a rich blend of lived experiences, making his sound dynamic, authentic, and impossible to confine to a single genre. Drawing inspiration from hip-hop, rap, Afrobeats, R&B, gospel, and alternative music, he creates a unique sonic identity that resonates across cultures.
