Taj. Khalif

Hailing from the south side of Chicago, a 24 year-old Taj. Khalif had been quietly gearing up for his debut project, "N:OW EP", which was released on February 21, 2020. Presenting his first official body of work to the public was a proud moment and a crowning achievement for Taj., but after the excitement died down, the young artist knew he still had a lot of growing to do if he wanted to be taken seriously as an emcee. After taking a brief hiatus to fine tune his sound, Taj. released his second project, "LA:TE", on February 4, 2022. While garnering influence from golden-age lyricists to modern-day pop stars, Taj. is hoping to bring more authenticity and variety to his genre. Although the desire for success is evident in his music, only time will tell how much of an impact the Illinois native will have in his field.
