Raised in the Mid-West regions of Kansas. Only 27, Taylr has been making music in this confined city for the last 6 years. Starting his journey into Rap and Hip Hop music by qualifying for Funk Volumes TeamBackPack cypher in 2014. He has been on a steady incline of development in the field of hip hop since, releasing over 60+ songs on multiple platforms like Soundcloud and YouTube from 2015 to last year in 2018. With 500,000 total views on Soundcloud from various singles and songs with local artists, he took on his first entirely solo project to date titled “Intoku”. "INTOKU" - 2018 While Taylr only ever wrote his songs before the development of “Intoku”, this project had a lot more to offer in terms of his artistic ability simply because he produced everything himself, with the exception of a song from a local producer. Taking the year of 2017-2018 for self-isolation and study, he finally released his first self-made album to the world on all streaming platforms. With the release of “Intoku” he had something more to offer than just rhymes, but an overall image. An Image saying, he can do it by himself. Just like you and many others can. Listening to “Intoku” you hear trace amounts of his influences on every track. A visionary, someone who plans to help boost and spark the awareness of others, and make them understand the importance of their own perspective through music. Through poetry. Through Hip Hop. Similar to that of Big L, Mos Def, Gangstarr, Nas, Tupac, and a few others. Lyricism in both today’s world of hip hop and the past, drives most of Taylrs music. "EMOVERE" - 2020 Emovere; “To move through or out.” To experience willfully or unwilfully. Allowing emotions to move through and out of us makes us human. Being impossible to reject these movements of emotions, both negative and positive thoughts often can cause us too or these movements to establish a long-term relationship within our perception. Being that these feelings are autonomous, depending on the environment or context which they arise from, can really throw you off. Even when you don’t want them too. Beginning the path of production only 2 and a half years back, Taylrs “Emovere” project is full of progression and determination that you can feel every second of each song. Being the producer of his own records, his ability to condense his expression and put it into a project or song, has exponentially risen in terms of reaching the people.
