TC & Jahara are a transatlantic production duo, with musician TC based in Malvern, UK and producer Jahara in Toronto, Canada.
Their collaborative journey started in Leeds, UK, in 2018, where they crossed paths in the Leeds music scene through the Leeds Conservatoire network. With roots in DIY writing and recording sessions, they honed their sound over the years. This collaborative evolution has given rise to a distinctive sonic identity, seamlessly blending Soul, Jazz, Hip-Hop, and elements of left field UK electronic music.
Inspired by the seamless fusion of electronic elements and live instrumentation demonstrated by their heroes, including Taylor McFerrin, J Dilla, Kaidi Tatham, and many others, TC & Jahara bring a unique flavour to their music. Jahara's finesse in sonic aesthetics intertwines with TC's infectious drumming, shaping the duo's distinct sonic landscape.
