THE i OF A GENiUS

24 year-old Paterson native Alejandro Antigua-Silverio has an unforgettable voice that he used to create THE i OF A GENiUS. Since the age of 15, Silvero knew that his voice could be used as a instrument to express himself and create art. His inspiration came when he heard “Let Me Fly” by DMX. It was then he really knew that he could channel his personality through music and make something of himself. In 2015 THE i OF A GENiUS made his first mark as an artist when he performed a freestyle for mydiveo that was aired on My x TV, a national television network. He then went on to open for Da$h and Chris Rivers who were notable underground artists at the time. Later that year he dropped his first official project, “Now or Never: L.E.G.E.N.D” EP, which was released on WPSC Brave New Radio on the Hip Hop Shop show. TIGs released his most popular song “SWIMMN” in 2016 which is the first single off his project “Symphony of a MadMan Vol. 1”. The project is a collective of songs featuring production from A$AP Mob’s A$AP Ty Beats. SOMM VOL.1 will also include visuals such as the AHS: Asylum inspired video “Relatable Jump”, the second single off the project. Throughout the years, TIGs has been on the cover of numerous newspapers including, The Star Ledger, The Record, The Herald, etc; for his dedication to the Paterson community and promoting artistic expression for kids. He hopes that he can reach a diverse audience and inspire other people to use their talent to the fullest.
