The MicGod

Born Michael Gregory Stanley later Joining The Nation of Islam and becoming Michael Muhammad, I started listening to Hip Hop at the age of 14. I was first introduced to Hip Hop by a cousin in New York Charlene McDaniel when she would come to our hometown visit. She brought cassette tapes that we would listen to for hours. I would just recite other people's lyrics until I started making my own up aka freestyling. In School and in the Community I would dance and rhyme all the time, with my childhood friends. After joining the US Army where I would perform on base and in the communities, being stationed at Ft Leavenworth USDB army Base where he met up with Sean Rice and started a group. After moving to Denver Colorado where I was deep into the Hip Hop scene with DJ Gee and Hype Man Dee, Performing at night clubs as an opening act from Hip Hop groups who were in the industry. I later returned back to my Hometown Maxton NC and Started my indie Record Label, Northstar Productions, with my family and childhood friends. I put down the Microphone to run my indie label to teach and guide the label's artists and introduce the business side. Deon N-Tense Blue later known as Blu Warta a family member became my inspiration to pick the Mic Back Up as he explained to MicGod to Fly High or Crash and Burn. When I decided to do so I studied how to use my name having a Knowledge Of Self and being a Muslim God/5% in the Nation of Islam I wanted to use the Supreme Alphabets to science up my name, so I became MicGod, which is an acronym for Master I-Cee God Cipher Divine..... which means I'm always Mastering How I see myself from a spiritual eye view which is God on the Mic (microphone). I decided on the return of MicGod for 2023 because we live and a social media age and I feel you are never too old to do what you love and that for me is Hip Hop so I had to put my energy into the clouds online, so now I'm here dropping my first Internet Album coming soon, Back N Da Daze!!!!
