Therapii

Therapii is a multi-talent from Baltimore, Maryland. He began a professional career in music at age 17. Via YouTube notoriety, his former four man vocal band landed a recording deal with Worldwide Entertainment associated with Island Def Jam in mid 2009. The group soon after, suffered disbandment. In 2012, Therapii landed another deal as a songwriter to a production company associated with Warner Chappell Music. 2013 he relocated to Los Angeles, CA to seek greater opportunities and found his sound in doing so; writing and recording song demos at Universal Music Publishing Group, Def Jam Recordings and DJ Skee's "Skee Lodge". By 2015, Pii landed his first major song placement, adding to his extensive indie credits with Dru Hill star Sisqo, entitled "Love Spell" (Last Dragon Album) written entirely by Pii. In 2016, he and “Jack Marzilla” landed a major placement with Prospectt, Ace Hood and Zoey Dollaz entitled “Dozen” (Fortune Teller Mixtape) diversifying his catalog from R&B to HipHop. As of 2019, Therapii returns to music as an independent recording artist and songwriter, debuting an edgy single titled Leaky on all major platforms. The single reached 20k listeners in the first week of its release. Though inactive online for most of 2020, Therapii is back in 2021 with a surprise release entitled “Never Too Much” a Luther Vandross “original flip”. The song is set to bring “fresh vibes” to the classic in his own way, while keeping up with its timeless and meaningful foundation.
