Thomas DaVinci

Thomas DaVinci is an all-around talent. Not only is he a rapper. He’s a singer, beat maker, producer, studio engineer, and a live sound engineer! He has a unique ear for music that constantly improves. His passion is more for the music of a respected artist and not for the lifestyle of the popular one. And this reflects in his music. Born in the city of Chicago, Thomas was raised in a low income two parent household. His parents were also musicians and pursued careers together as a band and as a duet. Due to the unfortunate circumstances their careers were shelved and they went on to raise 6 kids. Thomas was #5. Since a child he was drawn to music. At the age of 4 he would sneak into his parents’ home studio and quietly watch them write songs. In elementary school Thomas was apart of the school band and played the alto saxophone. He also sang in the school’s choir which was directed by his mother. In high school Thomas would begin to write raps that he would only share with his close friends. His senior year he joined the high school’s Jazz Band where he played piano. These were the makings of an artist. After high school and throughout college Thomas would record full mixtapes and share them on Facebook. This began his love for audio engineering. As he took his art more seriously, a friend introduced him to Classick Studios. A legendary recording studio in Chicago. Being around the studio only inspired him more and he looked to further his development by moving to Los Angeles. After spending 3 years in LA, soaking up game, building a fan base, and making friends, he returned home to the city of Chicago. In his return he went back to school where he earned his AA in Audio Engineering and in full circle got a job working as a studio engineer for Classick Studios! In his spare time he works for the highly respected legend Alex Harris as a stagehand and live engineer. Thomas DaVinci has a love for music that runs deep and plans always create and release music no matter what.
