About

Cleveland female artist Kareema L. Dalton also known as “To0ti3” was born (December 13, 1989) & raised on 79th in St. Clair; including other urban areas in the city of Cleveland, Ohio where she would first find her passion for poetry. Learning the creativity of writing & expression ; she would later on recite her “First Rhyme” with her younger sister Cheyenne Hurt at the time who went by (ThunderStorm) & her cousin Antonio Foster who went by (Tornado) & Kareema herself (Lil Storm) whom all at the age of 10 decided to create a young rap group & write their first song called “Y’all Don’t Want To Mess With Us“ in which the song was inspired by Master P & the No Limit Soldiers.. At the age of 7 Kareema’s mother LaShawn Dalton decided to relocate her and her siblings to the “Lee & Harvard Area” known as “Uptown” where she spent the rest of her upbringing at. As “To0ti3” (Kareema Dalton) approached her teenage years (13-16) she decided to officially pursue her rap career & joined forces with other neighborhood artists/friends/family rap groups to successfully become one of few “1st Lady” ‘s in the groups that she would join at the time such as “CBR” (Can’t Be wRecked) , “In2Deep”, “True Kings And True Queens” & “C-Level Records” . At that time she would go by “ Ladi Geniu$”. Through the hardships & breakups in some of the groups, it still gave her the opportunity to travel, be in talent shows, host parties & also bring recognition to all of their talents in the city. Today she still creates music with some of her fellow group members. Kareema graduated from John F. Kennedy High School in 2008 & after receiving her diploma she went away to college where she majored in Criminology; minor Pre-Law & took her break on the music side to focus on her education. She completed 2 years before she would change her major to Sociology & “Urban Studies”. At the beginning of her junior year in college she returned back home to Cleveland, Ohio. Immediately after returning home; Kareema got right back to her passion............ The MUSIC!! She began writing music for not only hip hop/rap but she explored her potential for writing R&B songs as well. Though she did not push her writing abilities with R&B as much she still continued to write, record & release her music for hip hop/rap. While consistently creating she released her single “Talk My Shit” in 2011 to represent her return back to hip hop as a solo artist. Kareema continued making music and releasing singles where she then caught an ear for producing and creating beats. She started making beats for her own songs to write to as well as others. She began to start learning everything she could about beat making, production, instruments, and etc. Kareema continued making music and releasing singles from 2011 - 2015. Until September 2017, Kareema lost her brother Mourice Foster Sr. to gun violence in Cleveland, Oh. In that moment; music would never be the same for her. She recorded many of her songs with her brother & featured on many of his projects as well. But after the sad tragedy of her brothers death her passion for the music started to fade away and she immediately decided to move down to Atlanta, Georgia. While living in ATL “To0ti3” eventually stepped away from the music for awhile BUT she never stopped writing. At the end of the year of 2019 Kareema returned back home to Cleveland to be closer to her family & her support system . Her focus has been nothing but her music & writing capabilities since. While now trying to reinvent herself & bring her different vibe, music & sound; she remains to be one of the most talented rappers, writers & creators out of her city.
