About
Born and raised in the Bronx, New York Tony "Domma" Snow has always been a student of music, but by no formal means. Coming from a single mother on welfare and brought up on the system, he didn't have much. He would come home from elementary school and bang on mom's pots and pans to practice what he learned in music class. His love for creating music helped him coupe with the many challenges faced growing up in the inner city. In the early 90's he began writing rhymes. It was a way to express the struggles around him and channel his anger. He was also able to gain experience and get a taste of doing what most don't, being around known industry artists, producers, and sneaking into big recording studios. He gained an exceptional ear for catching dope loops and snippets of sounds to chop, since there had been vinyl playing in his house for years of the 50's, 60's, 70's, and 80's and all genres from Spanish love ballets to Classic Rock. He Hustled up enough money to buy a Gemini 8 second sampler and was off to the races. At that time he was recording a loop on one cassette, then playing the cassette simultaneously with another sample playing on the Gemini and re-recording them both onto another cassette to make one beat. Flash forward to the present. He has brushed shoulders with some of the hugest stars and written, produced, and engineered hundreds of tracks. However this does not make him the best he says just making the best with what he had.
