About
Torenzo Perry is an African Indian-American musician who has a background in improv acting, fitness modeling and mma. Born in southeast Dothan, Alabama, Torenzo was mainly known for his athletic skills in football, weightlifting and partying. He was first discovered from his audition for The Real World: Season 33 (2018) and made an appearance on Face The Truth (2019) with Vivica A. Fox. Before making an appearance on the big screen, Torenzo released two demo projects titled Passion (2017) then Love Life (2017). Including a mention in ThisIs50 50 Cent website. King Zo: Volume 1 (2020) is his first official album (EP) alongside his first official single "No Problems”.
Following the delayed release date of King Zo: Volume 1 (2020), Emotions (2021) was released on the correct scheduled date. The sophomore album showcased Torenzo’s musical talents in Rhythm and Blues. This was a surprising release considering the musician had confirmed to be a Hip Hop artist. “Still My Boo” and “CLASS OF 2015” are two singles that were released to promote the sophomore album. Hip Hop is Torenzo’s main genre along with what the musician describe as, “rotating genres” including Rap, R&B, Soul, and Pop.
This introduced the musicians artistic ideas to incorporate only singles outside of his original genre but not for the albums which will forever remain Hip Hop. Another surprising fact following the release of the sophomore album Emotions (2021) is the impressive piano skills of the Hip Hop artist.
Torenzo currently has 15 albums: King Zo, Emotions, Tribe Talk, Forever, King Zo: Volume 2, Squad, Light Flex, MEMORIES, Street Art, Honesty, King Zo: Volume 3, ETERNITY, R&Zo Ocean, MMM, and Epiphany IV.
