Question: Give me some more details about yourself; for starters I know the name of the business is Trapstarr Muzik, but what name do you go by? Is it Monstar Trappstarr or just Trapstarr? What's the driving force behind your music?  How did your journey in hip-hop start? Are you drawing from life experiences when writing your music? We know you write your own music, who produces it though? What exactly is Trappstar Muzik? Is it a record company? A recording studio? Answer: I used to go by Monstar Trappstar In 2008-2011 back then there was to much confusion between me and a group called Monstarz also too much controversy in the street So I used the name Trappstar from being in the Trap most of my life. I slowly dropped the name Monstar So now I go by Trappstar or just Trapp . The driving force behind my muzik I would say. My brother who passed away when I was young. My loved ones who passed away as I grew older , my grandparents my kuzins my friends. Also my loved ones that are still here motivating me to do better and convert my pain and experiences into a positive energy threw creating muzik. My journey into hip-hop starts back in the 90’s as a 80z baby 🤫 I grew up listing to “Coollio , bone thuggz, KRS1 , Biggie, 2Pac. , Nas , Mobb deep , CNN , Snoop dog. ,and the list grows from there! Doggy style by Snoop dogg was the first mixtape my mom got for me back in 1993, For Christmas. LoL “ I related to that type of music from the way we grew up, things me and my little brothers seen as kids along with seeing our mother struggle with 5 of us on her own. I met my father when I was already a teenager and the reality of life and death was shown to me at a early age. So u can say I am drawing from life experiences when I write my music. I learned how to record music on my own from a bunch of old equipment my kuzin had put together, and I fell in love with the process of engineering music ever since. Between writing and creating my own songs I took it further and went to a studio production course. In order for me to take it to a professional level, I just had to learn how to produce my own songs. I am still in the process of finishing the program. For now I just buy beats and record my songs at home, Under my own production name : TRAPPSTAR MUZIK For now I’m building it as a studio but looking forward to signing new younger talent and creating a record label for my self. These are just a few of my goals.
