Trenches Man

With roots deeply grounded in Nigeria and a sound that transcends borders, Trenches Man is a faith-based artist who fuses Gospel, Drill, raw street storytelling, and Igbo linguistic influence into AfroGospel. As a rapper, singer-songwriter, and producer, he channels lived experience, faith in Christ, and resilience into music that cuts across culture, class, and geography, resonating with audiences worldwide. His work is driven by conviction, using sound as a vessel to reflect truth, transformation, and a growing relationship with Jesus. His journey began with his 2021 debut EP MENTALLY STRESSED, a raw and unfiltered reflection of personal struggle and societal pressure. He later removed the project from all streaming platforms after a spiritual conviction that its lyrics did not fully align with his walk in Christ. In 2024, he returned with UNPLANNED, his sophomore EP, which expanded his sonic range and reaffirmed his authenticity as an evolving faith-led artist. By 2025, Trenches Man had moved beyond making music into building a movement rooted in faith and identity. Through breakout Gospel Drill singles such as IBUCHIM (DRILL), OGBA AKA EJE AGHA (DRILL), and IHENILE (DRILL), he began shaping a distinct voice at the intersection of street culture and the Gospel, leading into his debut AfroGospel EP, DANGEROUS & DIVINE. In 2026, he continues to grow as one of his generation’s most authentic faith-based voices, firmly rooted in Jesus Christ and expressed through music, lifestyle, and visual identity. His growing signature slogan, “GRRRRRRRR,” represents “GOD IS THE GRRRRRRREATEST,” while his consistent use of a covered-face aesthetic reflects his belief in prioritizing the message over the messenger.
