Alejandro Arellano, better known by his stage name unotimestwo, is a singer, rapper, and producer based in San Diego, CA, and Tijuana, BC, Mexico. Influenced by the avant-garde styles of Kanye West, Travis Scott, and LUCKI, as well as latin artists like J Balvin and Bad Bunny, he infuses abstract, often bilingual lyricism over psychedelic instrumentals. After releasing a slew of EP’s and singles throughout 2018 and 2019, he released DEEP PURPLE in early 2020, his first independent album. With songs like STRESS and FAKE! garnering the most attention, he released videos for the songs soon after. Following positive, albeit modest reception, he continued with VERANO in June of the same year, a west coast/reggaetón infused project. On the heels of more positive feedback, he continued with A Night in the 619, a 5 song EP showcasing even more west coast flavor. He is now preparing to release a new, as of yet untitled project, slated to drop in December of 2020.
