Stanley Aiwekhoe, professionally known as Starz BSM, is a rising Afro-fusion artist from Benin City, Nigeria, known for his unique sound, emotional storytelling, and natural star presence. The name “Starz” reflects his belief in possessing multiple talents, while “BSM” (Bad Sugar Man) traces back to his early musical roots and first studio recording. Starz BSM’s journey into music began at a young age. As early as 2010, he was freestyling in class, playfully turning everyday moments into lyrical expressions. What started as fun soon evolved into a deeper passion, especially under the influence of his elder brother, Anthony Aiwekhoe, popularly known as Bselect, a musician. Being surrounded by music at home, Starz BSM developed a strong connection to sound, rhythm, and songwriting. In 2015, he took a major step forward by working as an apprentice in a music studio, where he recorded his first official track titled “Bad Sugar Man”—a defining moment that would later inspire the “BSM” identity. Driven by the dream of becoming a global star, he drew inspiration from Nigerian icons like Wizkid, Davido, and the legendary duo Psquare, all of whom helped shape his artistic direction. Now emerging with a refined and evolving sound, Starz BSM describes his music as unique and captivating, blending Afro-fusion elements with heartfelt expression. His songs are centered on themes of love, connection, and appreciation for life, aiming to make listeners feel seen, valued, and emotionally connected.
