WHESSST
Already performing in front of thousands by the age of 4, I knew that performing was my calling. I had a deep love and passion for R&B, and was a natural born dancer. I attended a performing arts high school and wrote my first pop song for another artist at just 17 years old.
I remember my mom showing me Lil Bow Bow on the Arsenio Hall show around age 5, telling me that I could do that. I wanted to do that. I needed to do THAT. My brother wrote my first rap, and I took it from there. I studied Da Brat, Ma$e, Jay-Z, and Left-Eye, to name a few.
In 2008, my mother convinced me to audition as a rapper for Diddy's Starmaker on MTV, where they were specifically looking for singers and musicians. I was one of a handful to make final callbacks but was unable to film due to issues behind the scenes. I did gain a relationship with District 78 through the casting director, which landed my vocals on seasons 4-5 of America's Best Dance Crew and one of my songs on the original motion picture soundtrack for the film Dance-Off.
I then went on to work behind the scenes, developing artists and producers, working as A&R on a couple of up-and-coming artists' projects, and focusing on my own mental health journey.
In January 2020, I joined the production group TuffCrowd Entertainment, where I earned three pieces in my first show. Since then, I have fallen in love with theater and continue as a member, always working and perfecting my craft as a performer. I have also starred in Nikeisha Andersson's Rap Woman documentary that premiered in Summer 2022 and will be releasing a highly anticipated debut album produced by the incomparable THX titled Arrive in Peace.
When I'm not performing, I enjoy spending time with family, friends, and my beloved fur babies. I am currently looking to do volunteer work in my community for children and youths who want to pursue creative work in the future.
