About

In an era where there seems to be a side-story of viral fame or leveraging connections to rise to the top, 23-year-old Vince Heartbreak has carved his music career out of pure pain and over the top emotion. In Vince's first uploaded track, By My Lone, there is the obvious sound of his daily struggles with depression, but within that sound is also the raw talent Vince holds. His ability to channel the charisma of the music he grew up on and blend it with more current rap trends keeps Vince circulating as one of the brightest new talents of his generation. Growing up in many different places, including Detroit, Los Angles, Toronto, Chicago, Milwaukee, Marshalltown (Iowa), Jackson (Mississippi), Phoenix, and Oakland due to his family life, Vince gravitated towards all genres of music. After being introduced to Lil Uzi Vert in the music video for “XO Tour Lif3” Vince was entranced in his art – the clothes, the sadness, the money, the confidence. Vince Heartbreak took to the culture surrounding depression and used that pain to guide him towards the future. Vince was always concerned with popularity in high school, but his parents cared more about his future than his social life. Instead of of parties, Vince would be training with his dad for basketball. In any of his free time Vince would resort to writing poems in his notebook to express himself and his problems. Calling himself “Worldwidelin,” he would always be around high profile people, including William Wesley (Drake), Stephen Curry, and many others. During this time he was studying the game and soaking in all the major pieces of hip-hop culture he had access too . Vince fostered an online friendships with other artists, most notably with super producers Okay Jones (Snap dogg, Chief Keef,& Sada Baby), and Rxney (Tee Grizzley). Although Vince had not told them about his musical side, Vince started working on music and built a partnership bridged by their respective hunger and talent. Okay Jones, Rxney, and Vince would become close, going on to craft several songs together. After Vince dropped By My Lone, it was evident that they all had what it took and Vince was itching to leave his sports career behind and pursue his dream full-time. Vince's parents was still skeptical, however. “My mom and dad really not involved in my music life, but I know they listen to my music,” he said. Vince is currently working on his debut singles while his music buzz continues to ramp up. He is one of the newest additions to United Masters roster and already has a full schedule of announcements. His debut single, “Legends”, and his EP, Sleepless Nightz, are both slated to release later this year. "Legends” is a slight nod to his alternative rap predecessors, embodying all the sadness that comes with both being a growing man as well as a burgeoning star. Sleepless Nightz plays off of that confidence with the grim coming of age learning moments about the distrust and failed relationships, depression, and suicide from events as a young man, and that these lessons are heightened by his growing status. Sleepless Nightz has moments of sober reflection on life’s events up to this point, moments of drug abuse, and plenty of Vince Heartbreak's confidence. When asked about the name of the EP, Vince said “2019 has been one of the worst years of my life, but I learned so much about people and the world. I had been living my life in everybody else's reality that I realized mine was slowly dying, So I just don't give af anymore, Im doing me.” Vince is also set to hit the road on a promo tour this summer. Vince Heartbreaks’ story is very different than many others in their bedrooms making music. From having everything on this world in his childhood, to hitting rock bottom. Vince's drive and charisma continue to fuel him forward into the spotlight, all the while carrying the torch of the alternative rap that influenced him into the new age. “I want to help the world, forget the music, I gotta keep my spirits up so I can save some lives & souls” Vince states. “I have to let these kids know that depression and anxiety are beatable, you can be happy living YOUR life, because every single person's worth can be whatever they want it to be.”
