About
Phillip Andrew Simmons (born March 19th 1999) known professionally as wer DNA. He is a rapper, producer, and songwriter. wer DNA was born in monroe, nc to Phillip and Kathrina Simmons.
In 2009, he and his parents moved to Savannah, Georgia; there he took up an interest in basketball.
2016 after Simmons' father abandoned his family; Simmons sank into a deep depression after quitting basketball, he began to use marijuana recreationally and writing poetry.
HIs senior year in high school, he and her mother moved back to north carolina where he turned his poetry into a passion for music.
In 2017, he graduated PArkwood High School and enrolled into Full Sail University for Music Production. After a year, he dropped out to focus on his music and to start his own production company, WERD Inc.
He will release his first release was in may 5 2021.
