Jakell Jaurice Duggins better known as Wicked Righteou$ is a 28year old MC hailing from Queens, New York. Jakell was born on march 12, 1995 at Queens General Hospital. He was raised in Queensbridge Public Housing by both his mother and grandmother up until 7 years of age before moving to Laurelton, Queens. Jakell was Inspired by fellow queens artists Nas, 50 Cent, Lloyd Banks, Nature, Tragedy Khadafi, Prodigy & Havoc Of Mobb Deep, & Cormega. A few other creative influences such as Biggie Smalls Big Pun, Big L, Nore, Tupac, Usher, Micheal Jackson and The Wu Tang Clan can also be attributed to his eclectic upbringing in music. At the age of 9 his older cousin, a gospel rap artist better known as Rizen Rob took him to a studio in Brooklyn where he recorded his first feature along side DJ Remarkable. He was motivated and instantaneously hooked to the art of hip hop and r&b. He started off writing stories and poetry. Living amongst relatives further honed and melded his craft and lyrical ability. By the age of 13, his aunt noticed his gift and bought him a Pro-Tools microphone so that he could begin recording his own music. He began learning how to use equipment by a constant stream of trial and error until his lyrical abilities began to evolve beyond the belief of his peers. His wordplay grew complex and his delivery became more confident than ever. His first performance was at the Nuyorican Poet Cafe in the Lower East Side of Manhattan where he gained a wider fanbase and more traction as a performing artist. His first out of state performance was in St. Anne, Jamaica where he spent 12 months vacationing with family back in 2011. His second out of state performance was a Jersey Fresh show at the Mill Hill Factory in Trenton, New Jersey. Jakell is a true prodigy who dedicates his life to his art and speaks volumes through it.
