WildNation

Wildnation is a hip hop music group. It was founded in 2016 by Ray Attah and Howard Eseonu. Howard was born in Nigeria before moving to Canada at the age of 12. Ray also migrated to Calgary, Canada at a very young age. They both went to Notre Dame high school Calgary where they found their love for music and decided to start up a band. Wildnation started out initially with two (2) prior members but now has seven (7) members in the group. Members of Wildnation includes Howard Eseonu Ray Attah Emmanuel Julio Victor Obiora Trae Savery Markes Rakim Siman Mbrahtu Wildnation dropped their breakout single “Guccimane” on April 21 2018. Guccimane racked over 80,000+ streams on Spotify and propelled Wildnation to the become one of the hottest new emerging hip hop group out of western Canada. Following the success of “Guccimane” and couple of other singles like ”Body on me” which had similar melodic cadence with the likes of Tory Lanez, and showed wildnation’s versatility to create different genres of music, they released their first mixtape “Planet W - Now or Never” on August 13 2019. This mixtape was very anticipated. In this tape, wildnation showed their ability to create sounds ranging from rap to afro-pop and R&b. Wildnation displays their level of versatility throughout the mixtape as the squad chants “Party till we D.I.E” on a dark, dreamy and energetic beat to singing on a slower and more melodic beat on “Playboy Summer”. Planet W made over 150,000 streams on Spotify and one of their visuals (Anuva one) was featured on GRM daily. Wildnation is set to release a big single called “Gassed Up” by January 2020
