William Stephens II

Mr. William Stephens II William Stephens II is a rapper, songwriter, music producer, dancer, choreographer, photographer, and videographer. A native of Conway, SC, William gained a passion for making music when he was 14 years old. “Everyone told me that I would never make it in this industry since I am dyslexic and reading and writing have always been a struggle.” Despite some of his teachers having little to no faith in his abilities, William knew then that he needed to prove them wrong, and he worked incredibly hard to achieve that goal. Dancing has also been a major creative outlet for William, and in his youth it helped him to cope with adolescent anger issues. “I started off by watching dance videos online, but when middle school rolled around, I joined a dance class at school where I met my mentor and now close friend, Osagie Ehigie. He has pushed me to become the performer that I am today. Most importantly, I thank God everyday for his grace because I couldn’t do it without Him. He has blessed me with an extremely supportive family, and for that reason, I want to glorify God in all that I do and eventually give back to my loved ones.”
