Born Yessi DeLeon in Puerto Rico and raised in the heart of Inglewood, California, Yessi is a bilingual recording artist bringing beauty, soul, street poetry, and real-life passion into every record she touches. Influenced by both her Puerto Rican roots and West Coast culture, Yessi blends melodic R&B, Latin flavor, and raw storytelling into a sound that feels emotional, feminine, and timeless. After graduating from Morningside High School, she invested in herself and her artistry, eventually crossing paths with Rhythm Architect and music visionary Golden Della Nori. The chemistry between the two artists led to Yessi becoming the official protégé of Golden Della Nori and a featured force behind the movement known as Rhythm & Izm.
