New York Mexican, born & raised in New Rochelle, NY. A passion for music started very early for NYM. He stated that the earliest memories he can remember always had to do with music. When NYM was 5 years old he shocked his mother asking her to buy him the new 50 Cent Album "Get Rich or Die Trying" which today is one of the only albums to go Diamond ever. That very moment would be his introduction and the beginning of him studying Hip-Hop, Rap & R&B. Growing up in a Mexican family/household he spent a lot of summers and holiday time in Michoacán & Jalisco, Mexico. Anytime there was a break from school he spent a lot of time there. Listening to Mariachi, Corridos, Banda, Conjunto & more Mexican Regional Music. But most of NYM's characteristics & traits come from New York as we like to call it the capital of the world. New York is written all over NYM's persona the way he talks, raps, sings, writes, & his overall vibe is very New York you can say. Listening to several different genres and styles of music from Hip-Hop/Rap , R&B, Batchata, Merengue, Salsa, Reggae, Reggaeton, & much more! Coming from a place like New York you have some of the most diverse communities in The United States. There is no question NYM has a story to share with the world..
