YSN Poet is the voice of the come-up. Formerly known as YSN Chrissss, he turned pain into poetry with projects like 13, From Nothing to Something, and The Chosen One. His melodic style blends raw emotion, street stories, and faith—showing that even in the dark, there’s purpose in the pain. Ysn Poet started his career at the age of 14. He released his first ever album, titled 13, inspired by his life's story growing up in Jacksonville, Florida, as Keon, a troubled teen who decides to turn his life around once he discovers his passion for music. Sometimes leaning toward sounds like Drill Chris, he tends to stick with a more sung melodic trap style and sometimes uses rock-inspired trap beats. The Chosen One by YSN poet is a powerful reflection on pain, growth, and redemption. Through emotional, story-driven tracks, Poet opens up about love, loss, and his battles with faith and self-doubt.
