YT XYLO, Born February of 1997 was raised in the coldest winters of Toronto, Ontario. Constantly moving around the city during his childhood energized him to learn how to adapt to new environments and socialize with new people. Based off of this way of living, he garnered popularity in different areas of the GTA as he wasn’t shy to connect with anyone. Growing up with a single parent who was also into the music scene, allowed him to be highly influenced by Rhythms of Reggae, Dancehall, Old School R&B and Late 90’s Rap Music. The Toronto native artist has been writing and making music since 2010. 
 Before becoming the artist he is today, he oftentimes would struggle with his sound and identity as one. Upon dropping out of college, the desire to live outside of the box prompted YT XYLO to travel out to the City of Vancouver — where he was able to find his market and grow as an Independent Artist. His time spent there allowed him to get a taste of the life itself; performing at venues such as Fortune Sound Club, Alexander Gastown and Revue Stage. Getting support and guidance alongside his cousins, granted him the platform and opportunity to establish himself while being an affiliate of “Yours Truly”. 
 YT XYLO’s music can be described as “experimental,” “alternative” or as he likes to mention: “Manifestation of many things” As he continues to dabble with different genres and rhythms, his main focus for his music is to captivate listeners and for emotions to be felt.
