About
Zayy1K is an independent recording artist whose music is built from real-life experiences, not manufactured stories. Raised through loss, betrayal, fatherhood, anxiety, and survival, his sound reflects the realities of growing up while carrying responsibilities most people never see.
Behind the music is someone who has spent years battling social anxiety, trust issues, and the fear that comes from losing people too soon. Opportunities were missed, stages went untouched, and relationships were tested—not because of a lack of talent, but because of the constant war between ambition and isolation. While others were chasing attention, Zayy1K was learning how to survive.
His upcoming project, If It Wasn’t For Social Anxiety, is his most personal body of work to date. The album explores the struggle of wanting success while fearing the crowds that come with it, wanting friendships while questioning everyone’s intentions, and wanting to be seen while worrying about being judged. Every song serves as a chapter of that battle.
At the center of everything is family. As a father and provider, Zayy1K‘s motivation extends beyond music. His daughter, his growing family, and the memory of loved ones who are no longer here continue to drive his purpose. The project also stands as a tribute to his late little brother—a promise that his name, memory, and impact will continue to live on through every milestone reached.
What makes Zayy1K different is his refusal to hide behind an image. The pain, anxiety, victories, losses, missed opportunities, and determination are all present in the music exactly as they happened. His goal isn’t to create a character—it’s to document a life.
For those who feel out of place in crowded rooms, who struggle to trust, who overthink every move, who carry grief silently, and who keep pushing forward anyway, Zayy1K represents proof that survival can become purpose.
This isn’t music made for attention. It’s music made to outlive the struggle.
