Born in the Bay Area, Daze Bond initially found his passion for music while rapping in High School. He first made waves as part of the rap group NDISGUYZ before making the bold decision to embark on a solo career. His talent was quickly recognized as he secured victories in local talent shows and captivated audiences with his electrifying performances throughout the Bay Area. In a major career milestone, Daze had the honor of showcasing his skills on a national platform when he performed live on MTV's The Cut, which was hosted by the iconic Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes of TLC.
After relocating to Las Vegas, Daze continued to carve out his path in the music industry, prioritizing his role as a storyteller while drawing inspiration from influential figures such as Tupac, E-40, and Scarface. Venturing into DJing initially as a hobby, Daze's passion for the craft grew exponentially, ultimately leading him to transition from rapping to DJing full time. He was jokingly given the nickname DJ DoWrong by his peers, who believed he had the potential to disrupt the industry if he mastered the art of navigating the DJ world effectively. And the new name stood strong!
Embracing this new chapter, he assembled a diverse array of talent in Las Vegas and embarked on projects aimed at showcasing the best of independent artists. DoWrong's dedication to nurturing emerging talent led him to release compilation projects that featured some of the hottest voices in the independent music scene.
While his focus shifted towards breaking new artists as a DJ, DoWrong continued to harness his creativity through songwriting, maintaining a multifaceted approach to his musical endeavors. With a keen eye for spotting potential and a deep-seated commitment to his craft, DJ DoWrong remains a driving force in the music industry, steadfast in his mission to elevate new talent and make a lasting impact on the world with his music.
