From Fayetteville, NC, Kornball offers introspective & real life relatable music for that kid that may balance the line between the streets and college. A promising career or jail. After graduating college he reconnected with his cousin, also an artist, Roc Brown and began working his craft and perfecting his musical talents. After years of grinding in the city, doing open mics & 4 mixtapes, 2 of those being collaborative projects with Roc. With a God given eye & ear, the very talented Kornball would help A&R and design the labels gear while also continuing his pursuit to release ”Out Of Character”, the idea for an album he had started & secretly worked on while with Roc Brown. After 3 years of working in the background, Deadplay lost a major piece to the family, Kitric Shavoy Reeves to gun violence. Kit introduced Kornball to the members of Deadplay. Heartbroken from the loss & in the spirit of KI, he released Raw Denim the lead single from that album and took Fayetteville by storm. Out Of Character was released January 10th, 2020.
