Leonardo José Capellán Cruceta (Born March 28, 1987), Santiago, Dominican Republic. Known professionally as Leo Kapellán, is a Dominican rapper, filmmaker and producer of urban music. Originally from the Dominican Republic, Leo Kapellán fuses dembow with Brazilian funk, creating a distinctive and vibrant sound. His lyrics, inspired by urban life, reflect the energy and authenticity of the neighborhood. With a sound that transcends borders, Leo Kapellán is positioned as an innovative voice in contemporary Latin music. His music got notice in 2018 when he first came out with a mix of funk and Dominican Dembow. Music style that has been expanding his career around the world in the last years.
