MK1-Music is a Record label owner and Sound engineer at MK1 Records and is best known as a mixing engineer specializing in various styles of music. With over 5000+ followers on Instagram and 1,400+ likes on Facebook. MK1-Music has collaborated and performed with: Ohjay, B Reigns, Eezy, Khaya Omnyama, Kalepz, ASAP Shembe, Gerald Johnson/Boogie G, Tshidamagg, MVX, La Vida SA, Supreme Kai 98, Flassouw and many more. He has featured in the Album of Ohjay titled "The Trail of Ohjay" Hard copies only, Taylux's EP "MAD(Memories and Dreams)", Tshidamagg's Album titled "CXLD SVMMXR NXGHTS", YungZii's EP titled "HOM(High Of Music)", Eezy's EP titled "Wa:Ke Up". He has been running an artist development program and music production course since 2018 when he realised that young artists and aspiring producers didn't have access to mentors and knowledge about the industry since one comes from city with the lack of access to proper resources. In 2016 MK1-Music were featured on Apple Music, iTunes, Spotify... ect outlets. MK1-Music also has students that he is currently grooming like, Respxnce a 13 year old hip-hop artist from Bloemfontein, Oratile an aspiring recording artist with YthreeC are currently a part of MK1-Music's Artist Development program. In 2019, MK1 RECORDS was founded and created a platform for La Vida SA, Queen Mo, Rabbit, Teezy and EC. Carving the way for the future generation of music.
