RICKY B

Ricardo Bauzile – better known by his stage name Ricky B – is an intelligent, ambitious, confident young artist who originally hails from Port-au-Prince, Haiti. Ricky learned at an early age that before you live you got to survive. And his favorite 2Pac’s quote “Only the Strong Survive” will be the catapult of his Brand. In May 2011, before his 18th Birthday, Ricky migrated to New York, where he would attend and graduated both High School and College just under 6 years. Ricky started to write music in January 2017 after graduated college; then, in 2018, he launched his own clothing brand, Strong Sense; and eventually he started his own Record Label and start releasing Mixtapes in 2019. Ricky B released 3 mixtapes in 2019; when asked why he decided to Rap and started his own label, Ricky says “Hip Hop always has been the best outlet for Black folks to both express themselves and capitalized of their intellectual Properties. So the question should be why wouldn’t I?”. Ricky B was 1 of 25 selected winners for the Cashapp x United Master 2020 Social Justice Reform contest.
