Rockim Williamson is a Detroit-born artist redefining hip-hop through authentic, socially conscious lyricism and dynamic wordplay. Raised in Grosse Pointe Park, his music blends intricate storytelling with relatable messages, resonating across diverse audiences. Rockim’s tracks, played in over 20 countries, are not only impactful but also highlight his versatility, showcasing his ability to resonate in any room and perform effortlessly in front of any crowd.
Not only has he shared the stage with icons like SuperDuper Kyle and Black Bear, but for the past five years, he has consistently performed at major festivals in the Metro Detroit area, including Royal Oak’s Arts Beats & Eats, African World Festival, Harvest Fest, and many more. His artistry has also earned him co-signs from hip-hop heavyweight Dave East and Detroit legends David Winans and Miz Korona, further cementing his place as one of the city’s rising forces. His performances have extended to renowned venues such as The Fillmore in Downtown Detroit, Meadow Brook Amphitheatre in Rochester Hills, and the Emerald Theatre in Mount Clemens, along with out-of-state bookings including Texas and Chicago.
Rockim is deeply committed to social change. He has advocated for the homeless community in Detroit many times and continues to inspire the next generation by speaking to middle and high school students.
