He is a up coming hip hop and R&B artist born may 26 1994 in halifax VA as a kid growing up he was always interested in music he started making beats at the age of 14 his aunt sammy farmer and her friend cedric started recording slimarlo when he was 16 in Danvile VA in 2010 he went by phantom at the time since then he stuck with music. At the age 17 slimarlo moved to Roxboro NC were he started to egineer his craft he made his first song in Roxboro with his younger brother Amaru who go by Aceyy and the buzz began. A year later slimarlo formed a group called Y.S.B (young savage boys) it was him ollie(cousin) sidity(best friend) deso (cousin)and aceyy (brother)
First song they put out was shout out. Slimarlo got his name when he was 20 him and ollie was walking on the train tracks and ollie said " you should change ya name from phantom how about slimarly. And slim said "that's a good name slimarlo!! Every since then he been slimarlo
At the age of 22 slimarlo met Yme(friend/big brother) and joined durty bandz interscope were he engineered alot of indie artist in the roxboro area.
One day slimarlo , Yme and true prince(friend) put a song together remixing a 2pac beat and they presented it to keita faulkner who was running rooted from the soul studio were slimarlo created his first ep this is marlo. He peformed at imurj at mir i am first event there were he performed his underground hit shine.
