The talented ASPÆD, aka Alexandria Adesso, is what new creative hunger dreams represent in a universe filled with gifted visionary minds. ASPÆD is a musician, singer, and songwriter hailing from Rochelle Park N.J. ASPÆD the talented living soul, as a youth had a keyboard and a musical voice, from elementary school chorus to her first live performance with the Heartbeat Dixieland Jazz Band @Smarty’s in Niantic Connecticut in 2015 has had this visceral passion for melodies, harmonies, and an overall orchestral love of instruments. ASPÆD has stayed active in her craft performing over 40 covers as well as other live performances. ASPÆD’s new EP “MaLiGNaNt” is the follow-up to her first-ever studio release, “ViRuLeNt,”  done remotely during Covid and released in 2022. Former Queen Latifah dancer and ASPÆD’s producer Bobby, aka Kreata of Free Your Soul Publishing LLC, labeled the experience an awe-inspiring journey.  ASPÆD was his newly signed singer/songwriter with a powerful, raspy rocker voice from New Jersey, and “ViRuLent” humbly reached 82 countries and over 140,000 streams with little promotion. ASPÆD’s fans would quote, once you heard “ViRuLeNt,” it was like a new version of fuel in a crowded market that raises the human antenna of curiosity will we hear more from her, or will she fade away? So ASPÆD and her producer Kreata got back to work with a more tailored project, hence “MaLiGNant’s” emergence. In 2024, “WoMvN,” the first single off her EP, “MaLiGNaNt,” was released along with the music video.“WoMvN” immediately caught fire as the new women’s Anthem, ASPÆD stated that “WoMvN” was written in response to the constant global attack on women’s healthcare and safety. She said, “I know there are others who feel the same rage and sadness, and I wanted to scream with them “We are more powerful than we know.” “MaLiGNaNt” Her growing fanbase and listeners, who now started to call themselves “RaaSpianz” because of her raspy rocker style, sum up New Jersey’s new Pop/RnB/NeoSoul/Raspy Rocker as an amazing, talented, and uniquely crafty singer/songwriter with strong, soulful, buzzing writing skills that are infectious, full of emotion, transmissible, catchy and contagious.
